Customer Account Manager

£27,000 plus £10,000 commission
Role Overview: To support the Customer Engagement Team to provide exceptional customer experiences to prospective, new and existing customers. The role will involve managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, including delivering demonstrations to upskill customers on our product portfolio and selling additional products and customer service.
We are looking for ambitious, tenacious sales professionals who thrive in past paced, high performing sales environments. You will need to be energetic, motivated with a passion for creating outstanding relationships with customers.
Your customers will be social care providers across the country including managers of care services, training managers or HR Representatives who recruit colleagues for their care services.
You will be required to successfully reach out to and engage with existing care services using email, phone and Teams, generate leads and opportunities to demo Grey Matter Learning s services and products and showcase the many benefits it will bring to their organisation.
Main Duties - including but not limited to:
- Build relationships with existing customers through outbound prospecting using a combination of phone, email, LinkedIn and Teams.
- Working alongside colleagues in the Customer Engagement Team to build a strong pipeline of opportunities for all products available.
- Deliver excellent customer service for new and existing customers via email, phone and virtually.
- Understand existing customers' challenges and build solutions to help overcome them.
- Attending regional and national events to build brand awareness.
- Deliver demonstrations via Teams to prospective, new, and existing customers to bring to life the products.
- Undertaking research and profiling to source new opportunities and grow existing customers.
- Win new deals and achieve new business revenue targets.
- Inspire customers and colleagues to deliver outstanding customer experiences during every step of the journey
Skills and attributes:
- Proven sales experience winning new business customers, working in similar sales, Account management or business development roles.
- Experience managing sales processes from start to finish from identifying new prospects, securing initial meetings, carry out demo s to successfully onboarding of new clients.
- Ability to manage solution led sales processes, tailoring solutions to reflect challenges care services may have recruiting or training staff.
- Able to use open ended questions to identify challenges faced by providers in the Care Sector.
- Strong communication skills, confident talking to customers, of different levels and roles.
- Able to use initiative and problem solving skills.
- Excellent office/IT skills: able to use MS word, MS excel, Google/Microsoft docs, spreadsheets, email.
- Strong literacy skills: able to construct and write emails using correct grammar and spelling.
- Exceptional relationship building skills, team player, keen to make a difference and grow with the company.
- Flexible and responsive to changing business priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of the Customer Engagement Team.
