Central Manchester office - 4-5 days in the office
You'll get a intensive introduction to sales in the first two weeks to give you the best possible head start into your sales journey. Joining a team of one other SDR and a team of AEs to support you, you'll have the chance to learn from others in the process in becoming the best sales person in Manchester. During your three month ramp up period, you'll have plenty of support and guidance.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for booking in product demos & meetings for the business development team. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting potential new customers - using cold calling as your main hook with enticing LinkedIn and email sequences to accompany. Not forgetting high level research skills to build rapport.
- Working with an AE (Account Executive) - you'll be assigned your own AE to work closely together on opportunities. You'll learn a lot from your AE!
- Working towards targets and KPIs - regular activity targets (calls, emails and linkedin outreach) and working to reach that monthly meeting target.
- Reaching out CTOs, Tech leadership roles (CPO, VP of Engineering, CIO) mainly in the retail, automotive, health, utilities and wealth management sectors

What do you need?
- A good attitude, willingness to learn, taking on feedback and open to failing is essential - it's the best way to learn
- Previous sales experience isn't necessary but if you've had any experience on the phone that would be relevant.
- Intelligence - this is a B2B role, and you'll be having conversations with C-level and senior executives, so you need to be able to be intelligent, articulate and sound credible on the phone.
