Sales and administration assistant wanted for fast growing family owned luxury retail business based in Calderdale
Are you an experienced Sales and administration assistant ready to take your earnings to the next level?
My client have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Sales and administration assistant to join a well-established family owned business. This role is perfect for an experienced Sales and administration assistant who has a proven track record of generating new business and exceeding targets!
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a a sales/retail enviroment and will be comfortable working with targets and KPI's.
The role has a exciting element of sales which is rewarded with a generous commission structure. There is also an opportunity for the ideal candidate to generate new business and target commercial clients.
Duties :
- Proactively approach customers in the showroom or via phone/email to understand their needs and preferences, offer expert advice, and facilitate product selection.
-Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from order placement, supplier negotiations and delivery coordination, ensuring seamless customer experiences. Some invoicing will be required using a simple inhouse user friendly system.
-Carry out the administration works relating to all incoming sales, invoicing customers and statements along with providing care guides where necessary. Support the website developer with content for the website.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in telephone and face to face inbound sales, preferably in the luxury retail industry.
- A full UK drivers license and own vehicle ideal but not necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with customers and partners.
Desirable but not essential:
- Strong content writing skills with some knowledge of SEO
- Some experience with basic Photoshop tools
- Some experience with wordpress

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (8:30am-4:30pm)
- Two Saturdays a month(10:00am - 4:00pm)
